Families

See, touch and smell our historic buildings and run wild through our Glade and along our Nature Trail. Head off on perilous adventures with our arctic explorer board game and play 18th-century musical instruments in the Great Hall. Activity sheets are available daily, free of charge and we also run themed events for young explorers throughout the year.

Themed activities and events take place throughout the school holidays and seasonal periods. Normal opening times and admission charges apply, but there is no additional charge for taking part in the activity. Please note there will be an admission fee of £3 per child aged between 5 and 15 from January 2023.

Season Pass holders will also receive free access to our Online Portal where we post a free kids activity each month.
